I think I have successfully wrapped up a collection of songs I am tentatively calling a demo, perhaps even an album. It is mostly for myself, but I am pleased to finish it and pass it along nonetheless. Through the past year or so I have inched through the production of about 12 different pieces, though not all of them have been finished. One in particular has been kicking around since September. I felt that if I could somehow buckle down and finish it, then perhaps I would feel a sense of completion, of closure.
I regret leaving behind music in college, and I regret even more the past few years of my life, years I consider wasted. I have not completely recovered from them, but I hope that the music I have composed has allowed me to let go of some of it.
I am glad to share what I have written with everyone, with the understanding that it is not intended to be loved by all, or indeed anyone but myself. It is really just an expression of all the events and emotions I’ve had to travel through over the past 3 years to get where I am now. Thank you to those who have stood by me, and to those who have forgiven my mistakes.

Avaelin - Lost in a Sea of Stars
New song. Extremely dissatisfied with it to be honest, but I haven’t put anything up here in a while. I’m sure I’ll end up just removing every trace of this one eventually. It’s spacey, the beat is not interesting (when there is one) and the textures or not dynamic enough. But perhaps some of you will enjoy it.

Let’s get lost…
Mokuleia beach, this past March. We walked up and down it trying to find the filming locations for the beach camp from Lost. Then when returning home I watched teh finale of season 4. I felt like a moron.
This song makes the nostalgia crash up against me in waves. Just turn it up, dim the lights, close your eyes, and fly someplace else.
