On Composition
When I write a song I rarely come to the table with a concrete idea. Usually I have a certain feeling I want to capture. Occasionally I have a sound that I want to mimic. I do not adhere to strict music writing principles. My songs are likely to changes modes several times and they rarely change tempo. I can’t think of a track in the past 10 years that changed keys. This might mean I am a bad...
I don’t want to do anything right now. Just want to sit here endlessly until these books are read or I forget why I feel like shit.

Ik ben gefrustreerd vandaag.
For several reasons, none of them particularly important in the grand scheme of things. Most of them are my fault. Not all of them.
Nevertheless!
Right now what I NEED to do is go and work on music. It will calm me down. I have ideas that I want to act on and even when I am distraught, writing songs always calms me down. I get very caught up in it.
